Most certainly my most fun outfit yet, I have seriously developed a fascination with tie-dye as a result of the Neonstash event I covered last week.
Those who read my post last week would have known that I suicidally took off my tailored shirt and decided to tie-dye it. Before I ironed out the creases I was seriously sceptical, but a tip for future tie dyers: iron it before you judge it! Once I ironed the shirt I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. It might be crazy for some (probably everyone) but I’m really digging it.

I’m wearing the shirt with a black jacket in order to balance the loudness of the shirt. The trousers aid the summery look as well wing-manning the shirt. I’ve gone sockless with some tassle loafers to match the trousers as well as keep the outfit smart but casual.

I styled the t-shirt the same way as I wanted to show some flexibility with the bottom half of the outfit. Blue is such a durable colour that you can pretty much pair it with anything, and in both cases I’ve managed to go both smart AND casual.
I’d like to say a big thank you to @NeonStash and @Dyetodye (the Dylon guys!) again for hosting the event, else these magical creations would never have happened. I’ve been bit by the tie dye bug.
I definitely have some more ideas for some future tie-dying and this won’t be the last of it, but this is definitely an area I want to explore - a play on my interests of both smart AND street. Stay tuned!
